Punishment: Up to 3 years imprisonment and/or a fine of up to PKR 1 million.



3. Unauthorized Access (Section 18)

Hacking into someone's personal accounts or devices.


Punishment: Up to 3 years imprisonment and/or a fine of PKR 1 million.



4. Defamation (Section 20)

Publishing false or damaging information about someone.


Punishment: Up to 3 years imprisonment and/or a fine of PKR 1 million.



5. Hate Speech (Section 10)

Promoting sectarian hatred or inciting violence.


Punishment: Up to 7 years imprisonment.
